Coláiste Choilm CBS is a Catholic Boys school founded by The Christian Brothers in 1967. It is a member ofERST(The Edmund Rice Schools Trust). It combines a strong emphasis on academic achievement with a caring attitude to all its students. The schoolmission statementfollows the Christian Brothers' philosophy of creating a community of students whose central purpose is the religious, moral, intellectual, physical and social education of the student. This community seeks to create an atmosphere of Christian care and concern in which the student can grow to maturity.

Mr.Gallagher, Mr.Lawlor and Mr.Foster wish to commend all students in 1st and 2nd year for their excellent work in this years Student Entreprise Awards. After a wonderful school final made possible by the excellent wotk of our 5th year stewards, Colaiste Choilm brought "TCC" of 1S, "Charged" from 1T, "Tenere" from 2T and "Boothackers" from 2L to the county finals. The efforts of all students were recognised for the 2nd time. Colaiste Choilm won the award for "Enterprising School Spirit" - an award for the best school and most innovative school in Fingal. Special thanks to Luke Garrigan and Josh Mallin from TY who have produced a special edition of the Colaiste Column to mark the achievements of this year
Hard luck to the 1st Year Soccer team who sufferd heartbreak in their 2-1 defeat to worthy winners St.Brendan's Killarney in the All-Ireland Final. Onwards and Upwards for the lads now!! The school is very proud of your achievements, well done boys.....
Congrats to the U-14 hurling team who defeated Colaiste Chiarain Leixlip 5-12 to 3-12 in the final of their competition. A report on the game will follow........
A massive congratulations to both Darren Corr(pictured with Mr. Boyle, left) and Sean Mok(pictured with Mr. Neville, right) who both sat their Leaving Cert in June 2015 and both of whom received Entrance Scholarships to UCD and TCD respectively. Sean received the JP McManus All-Ireland International Scholarship as well last weekend and is currently studying Nano Science In TCD. Darren is studying Actuary and Maths in UCD. Well done to both Sean and Darren, the school is incredibly proud of your achievements.
Congrats to the under 14 football team who defeated Chanel College comfortably to qualify for the semi finals. They play the winners of St.Davids Artane and St. Kevin's Ballymun. This game will be played on Thurs 28th Apr so keep an eye out and an ear open for the smi fixture
Hard luck to the 1st year soccer team who were beaten by a hungrier Colaise Phadraig CBS Lucan who came out on top 3-1. Sweet revenge for the Lucan boys reversing a 5-2 defeat we inflicted on them earlier in our run to Leinster Cup success. We wish them every success in their Dublin Metro League final and the Leinster Chamions league final.
