Sports News:

Under 17's exit Leinster Cup at quarter final stage with a comprehensive loss against New Cross Finglas. Season is now over for this squad

Under 15's & 19's have both also been eliminated from the Leinster Cups and leagues. The first year soccer panel had a rapid exit from the 1st year league losing both group games to St. Fintan's Sutton 4-2 and to Chanel College Coolock by the same scoreline. With a bit more luck results could have been different. We hope to organise a number of games for 1st years against local schools when we come back after the Easter Holidays.

Under 14 Gaelic Footballers lost out in their final against St. Joseph's Rush. A superb 2nd half effort saw the Bros get to within 2 points of St Joseph's but in an attempt to find those elusive scores, they left themselves open to counterattack and were hit by sucker scores to lose out by 7 points in the end! Hard luck lads! A fantastic season lads, so hold your heads up high!

Senior hurlers win Dublin Title with a 4 point victory ....... Click here to see Report .....

Junior and Senior Footballers have both finished their seasons and have exited from their Dublin leagues. The senior panel were beaten in the knock-out stages by Confey College by a mere 2 points in a match that either side could have won. The juniors were beaten in their 3 fixtures.

1st and 2nd Year Basketball has commenced with both teams having played two games each. Both teams have been unfortunate to lose both their group games but victory is just around the corner lads!

Best of luck to former 5th Year students Zac Elbouzedi and Jonathan Lunney who have begun their professional soccer careers with West Brom and Preston respectively. Also keep an eye out for former students Shane Elworthy and Gareth McCaffrey who are also plying their trade across the water with Fulham F.C and Hibs respectively. Best of luck to Alan O'Sullivan who recently returned home from Aberdeen and who is now playing with Shelbourne F.C and Ireland's Under 19 international team.

Also, best of luck to current 5th Year Conor Fowler who will move across the Irish see to begin a professional soccer contract in the summer with Cheltenham town. Well done Conor and the very best of luck.

Finally, Colaiste Choilm would like to give a massive congrats to former students Steve Garrigan and Mark Prendergast a.k.a. KODALINE whose recent album "IN A PERFECT WORLD" has gone triple-platinum!! A brilliant success for the two lads and their band mates.
